Custom Preset on Start-Up?

Whenever I start a new project in FCP 7, the initial sequence preset is always NTSC DV. How do I set it so that it'll make a Pro Res 422 1920x1080 24p sequence every time I start a new project?

Thanks.

If you've been using FCP at all, I'd think this would be pretty basic stuff. Maybe pick up the manual?? Not trying to be a dick, but you'll get a lot more out of FCP by learning what it's capable of...

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough the first time. I want to change the default sequence that loads up in new projects so that it doesn't give me DV NTSC every time, thus forcing me to open the sequence settings and set it to ProRes. I'm trying to remove a small but annoying step from my workflow since I work primarily with ProRes now. I'm going to go ahead and answer my own question so the thread isn't a complete waste to someone who might have the same problem in the future.

After digging around in the preferences some more I found that you can go into the User Preferences menu and under the General tab there's a setting you can turn on that will ask you for a sequence preset every time you start a new project or make a new sequence within a project, which kind of half-way solves my problem.

The other half of the solution is to go into Audio/Video settings and make a custom preset for yourself, since there are no stock Easy Setups for the ProRes settings I'm working with. Though the first option is kind of moot once you have your own Easy Setup in place because it will load that same Easy Setup on start-up.

Looks like clicking around in the menu solved my problem after all. I guess that's what I get for expecting a quick tip from other users and getting smartass quips instead. But hey, when you're selling instructional dvd's, why give away the information for free, right?

And I think I know my way around FCP pretty well, thanks...
