GH3 custom picture settings on GH3: "0" to "-5" what are the recommended levels???

custom picture settings on GH3: "0" to "-5" what are the recommended levels???

Coming from the GH2 where used to set contrast, sharpness, and saturation all to "-2" served me well.

But since the GH3 now goes all the way to "-5", my question to anyone who has already received their GH3:
what picture settings work best for you? Do you leave them at "0"? Do you keep them at "-2" like on the GH2? or do you dial everything back to the minimum at -5?

What picture settings have you found that work best for you?

One thing is, I think sharpness definitely needs to be turned down to at least -2, otherwise you get aliasing in areas of rough texture (skin, clothes, walls, etc) when in critical focus. Moiré doesn't seemed to be helped by this but it helped with some noisy looking aliasing I've experienced.

I do not like dialing contrast and sat back too much because they seem to make the image really plain, almost sepia, where the whole thing sort of takes on a sort of flat hue.

Thanks Ben-B, I'll keep that in mind. I agree with you about not turning down the saturation to -5, it does make image a little too colorless when you take it that far down.
