Custom medieval armor from Madison, WI- pic heavy

Greetings all! Per a friend's recommendation, I'm posting here to let you guys know what I can do. I'm new here, and have only read the basics of the forum rules, so mods- if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it and let me know. Also let me know if the pics are too big, and mess up the format- I looked but couldn't find any guidelines. I can edit the post with smaller pictures, so just ask.

Anyways, I've been making armor for about 5 years now, and I have a number of pieces that might interest you folks. The most recent work I've been doing has been a series of buckler shields for a friend in a medieval re-enactment group- here's a couple pictures:

And here's another amusing project from late last year- a chest-plate with an Urnes-style norse dragon carving set into one side.

This will give you some idea of what I can do. I can make simpler pieces as well, but un-decorated stuff is pretty easy to find on ebay, too. Depending on how much you're willing to spend, I can make some very intricate stuff- and depending on what look you want from it, I can get near-mirror polish, rough from the hammer, old and weathered, and everything in between.

Email me at dymaxian at yahoo.com with inquiries. If you've got ideas, we can come up with a design for just about anything.

Thanks a bunch!

Kase
