Custom 17" Unibody MBP + 24" Apple Display

Hi guys,

selling a literally LNIB Unibody MBP custom ordered on 04.02.09 from Silverado Systems, but it literally is like new, absolutely no scratches or dead pixels, IMMACULATE!! Btw, Torrey rocks!!

The reason I'm selling is because makes no sense for me to have a MBP when I absolutely NEVER take off the desk!!

Will make a deal for the all package.

***Custom MBP UNIBODY:Purchased for $3,797 Selling for $2,999 OBO

Custom-MBP17 Apple 17" MacBook Pro "Unibody" (shipped and PPled)
• 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
• 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
• 160GB Intel X-25M SSD
• SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
• MacBook Pro 17-inch Hi-Resolution Glossy
Widescreen Display
• Backlit Keyboard (English) / User's Guide

***Apple Cinema Display 24" LED: $765 (shipped and PPled)

Monitor comes LNIB, not a single scratch or dead pixel.
Purchase from B&H on 02.01.10 but it really makes no sense for me to keep the MBP and Display, when I never use the MBP outside, so I'm selling both and get a Desk top again.

***Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter $59

***Apple Wireless Keyboard: $49

***Apple Magic Mouse: $49

What is custom about your computer? It seems heavily overpriced when you can get a BRAND NEW one with higher specs for less.

Well, custom as the 160GB Intel X-25M SSD was not something you could get from Apple, and I see that now sales for about $600.

The new one is not superior, the X-25M is still much faster then any of the Apple offered SSD's. A brand new 2.93 with the same SSD drive comes to $3,250 about. Not cheaper then my original price of $2,999

But I do now see that I need to give a better deal as $249 .

So correction made to the asking price, and now you have a savings of about $660 on an absolutely Immaculate MBP.
