F65: Custom 12V DC Out to D-Tap splitter cable...

...for cleaner rigging. Use a Fischer 11pin male plug for the DC Out side of the F65.

I mean, per the supplied picture, it looks like 12v, 4 amps. So 12x4 = 48 watts. But do note that it says "unregulated" - so it could actually be a more variable voltage - anything you attach needs to accept 12volt unregulated
 
Very creative!

Have you ever seen an L version of this 11-pin? I'm always paranoid it's going to snap off... in a vulnerable place.

Also, if you use a battery plate that also feeds the camera 24v, you can also use the 24v output next to it simultaneously.

Nice! Looks like you’re using a newer type oled finder. Do you like it much better than the standard one that usually comes with the F65?

And no I’ve never seen a right-angled Fischer 11pin connector...would probably be pretty expensive if bought new if it even exists.

I was lucky to find this Fischer cable end on eBay for $29.

That's cheap. Those are really pricey. Nice find!

I use the OLED because it's smaller (very important for me) and the image is better for when I'm operating off of the EVF. Many people really like the old one because you can use it as a small screen, without having to look into it. For me, I don't miss this capability, so I'm happy with the OLED version... which can be found for cheaper now that the new EVF is now out.

Yeah, I wish the 12v output wasn't an 11-pin Fischer. I wonder if any of you mod wizards have or will experiment with replacing that... say, with a 4-pin Lemo. In this regard I sometimes wish I had an O.N.I. modded F65, since I think they routed some common I/O at the top of the camera onto their custom handle-plate... which I much prefer as far as the integration of accessories is concerned.
