Ok, so ive got an XHA1 with a Letus Extreme, while focusing on the built in lcd is difficult its definitely not impossible.

Some guy on Craigslist is selling me a Curtis 7" LCD like this one for $30:

Im thinking of buying it as it has a battery that lasts 4 hours and composite in.

Obviously this isnt going to compete with the real deal HD monitors, but its gotta be better than XHA1's tiny lcd right?

I urge Caution, I purchased a similar LCD from Big Lots many moons ago. Nice Idea, has lots of bells and whistles, but when it boiled down to it, it looked awful and was totally unusable. (it would make a good pencil holder, just cram one in the screen to make them stay) I returned it immediately. We even opted to try another one before taking our cash back. The problem was consistent. It simply just could not perform. Poor response and very poor l res. You get what you pay for in LCD's.

I have a ToteVision 7 inch HD LD we got for around 600 bucks. I use it every day. It is a good entry level focusing monitor. Nice thing is, is the darn thing will run on anything from 6 volts through 12.

It took a dive onto a thin pile carpet from 6 feet once, and survived. It needs color calibration. It seems like it is off from the factory. Ive read others say the same thing.

If someone knows somebody who can Calibrate this for me, I would be greatfeul. PM me.

Dave
