The closest to an HVX200 in 4K would be the DVX200. Similar size, similar design, but the DVX200 has a huge sensor and records to SD cards instead of P2 cards.
The model below it would be the HC-X1000, a 4K camera of similar design but a lot smaller and with a much smaller sensor (sensor about the same size as the HVX200).
1. What is the model below the HC-X1000 that also shoots 4K? I'm looking at possibly getting multiple cameras for a project and need to consider budget.
2. When I used the HVX-200 it was a long time ago, and it was generally considered top notch in its price category. Any idea where the DVX200 (interesting that they are using DV as part of the model name for a 4K camera) and the HC-X1000 compares in terms of quality and features with Canon and Sony equivalents?
