I saw a good sampling of dSLR based acquisition on the Time Warner Lakers Backstage docs.
The most annoying problems so far are: focus hunting, incorrect white balance and inability to track focus correctly.
They had to cut to regular 2/3" cam w/ servo zoom lens for it and color correct it to match the dSLR look.
Overall it's not bad quality.
