LOL, watching CSI Miami tonite, and I saw a jib arm shadow very plain, on the sand! Whoops! I guess pros make mistakes too.

That entire show is a mess-up. I often spot part of a skyline that is obviously LA, not Miami. The first dead giveaway are the tall palm trees, we don't have those here. I wish someone would make a spoof called CSI:LA and shoot it in Miami. :happy:
 
That's it, DChang, destroy the show for me. It's forever ruined for me.

LOL, I know, I get a kick out of seeing those things. I actually worked on CSI:NY once, in seedy downtown LA. And CSI (the original) is filmed up in Valencia
 
dude name a show or movie and I feel like I could tell you about a goof up in it, even the really good ones. I saw a promo for Burn Notice one time, THREE reflections of production crew in sunglasses, a car window and the side of a vehicle. If there is one way to get me to not watch a show it's by ruining the illusion with carelessness and laziness. If anyone here watches WEEDS, watch the first season and see if you notice this.... A few episodes in I quit watching because this woman opened the mirror in her bathroom and proceeded to have a conversation with her husband while the sound guy (wearing a hawaiian shirt if I remember correctly) sat there in perfect sight in the mirror for like 30 seconds. amazing what people can pass off as professional. I mean a tiny goof up here and there, or a quick shadow or something I can get over, but it's such a huge pet peeve of mine that these people get paid so much and are supposed to be the creme-de-la-creme in our craft and they don't take care of the little things. anyways, I'm done ranting. also, David Caruso is awesomely bad :)
