CS3 - Areas won't stay rendered, and material goes "offline"

Hi,

I am working on a big project in Premiere Pro CS3 (about 1.5 Hours) and suddenly after every time I re-open Premiere some of my clips goes "media offline" - when they are clearly not.

I used the trick to move the clips 1-3 seconds forward on the timeline, and then Ctrl-Z it, which works to bring the offline media back - but not permanently. I have to do this every time I restart the program.

A bigger problem (the main one) is that my rendered clips do not stay rendered when I close the project and re-open it.. i need it to stay rendered!

Any solutions to this problem?

My specs are:

Core2Duo 2.2Ghz
4GB Ram
GeForce 8400 128mb
Running Vista Ultimate
etc etc etc

Thanks...

another work around to media offline is to right click select Disable then re- enable its a pain i no wish they would fix it, as to your renders where are your scratch discs housed ? eg Video/Audio previews and the media Cache

did you find out how to fix this problem? i'm going through the same **** and it's ****ing annoying.
