crummy green screen

Re: crummy green screen

Keep experimenting! I like how its raw where you can hear someone giving directions. Funny!

OMG, thanks for that. The keying looks decent but that guy in the suit almost made spit my tea all over my monitor. See, I work with 5 mentally retarded guys in their home, and one of them is a huge batman fan, so we bought him the batman version of that costume. I don't know why(well actually I think it's the fake muscles molded into the suit) but that was the first thought that came into my head when I saw that guy flying. Anyway , what software did you key with?

I actually don't think the green-screening was that bad. There are some obvious artifacts around the guy's hands, but you probably just need to increase the sensitivity of the matte. The only thing that really bothered me was that paper(?) that kept blowing shadows across the shot the whole time. Obviously this was just an experiment for fun or whatever, but it goes to show that a few C-47s can go a long way. :-p

did you throw any light from behind superman, onto superman ?

That should "lift" him of the background, and get rid of the green glow around him

thanks,
Derrick
