Did anyone else notice that the Panasonic GH1 exhibits cross talk between the left and right audio channels when external mics are used?

If you have have two mics plugged in using a Y adapter, each mic will spill over slightly into the other channel.

It's even mentioned in the Juicedlink manual for for the DT454 model.

It's annoying when you're trying to disable the AGC or trying to record two clean channels.

Yuck.

u mean your 2 mikes are outputing mono each and ur using a Y adaptor to make a stereo signal. (i dont have the cam but im assuming thats what the microphone input is?) I wouldnt use those Y adaptors, i would be running each line into something like an M-audio box and using that to output a stereo signal. Im not guna even ask that ur making sure your mikes are not picking up the sound that the other mike is supposed to be picking up. hehe

I am using a Y cable, and I realize that may be making the problem worse.

BUT the guys at Juicedlink were using their $420 DT454 pre-amp/mixer and experienced cross-talk on the GH1 but not on the other DSLRs they tested.
