CREW NEEDED Next Wednesday, March 18th in LOS ANGELES, CA.
We're shooting a super sweet music video on a decent budget.
Here are the details to persuade:
-one full day of shooting (not too rigorous, 7-10 hours)
-shooting in a high-end nightclub in LA
-shooting on an HVX w/ 35 adapter on Nikon primes
-club lighting in addition to a couple of Kinos and a handful of Fresnels
-dolly and tracks
-professional dancers
-super hot actresses and studly actors
-great song by an emerging indy artist
Unfortunately the only compensation I can offer is a good time, food, and drink. I will also be hooking everyone up with a copy of the finished product on DVD, and appropriate credits online. The video will be distributed online primarily, but will receive play on local stations in NYC, LA, SF, Seattle, and in Hartford, CT. Who knows what else the future has for the video— but I can assure you we're going as big as we can!
We have candidates for Cinematographer, 1st AC, and gaffer, but we're still looking to see who else is out there. Please send all of your information to musicvideobaby@gmail.com. If you have questions feel free to email us or reply to the thread.
CINEMATOGRAPHER- experience required, send reel and links to completed projects.
1st/2nd AC- experience required, 1st AC will pull focus. Both will need to help with camera set-ups.
GAFFER- experience required, please send links to reel or to a completed video.
LIGHTING GRIPS- no experience necessary, working under the gaffer, good opportunity to get on-set experience and learn the ropes.
1st/2nd AD- experience a plus, looking for someone with good organizational skills and a basic understanding of how a set should be run.
MUSIC GRIP- experience NOT required, you just need to start and stop the music when cued. Fun job for someone who wants to get some on-set experience and hang out with good looking people.
