I find this pretty creepy. You expect something ugly to happen every second.

Man, that Clown-faced thing would have been pretty scary even if the park were well maintained... here it looks downright terrifying.

This was my exact thought about "speed dating" (ba-zing!)

I think the "old party man" converted to "welcome to zombie land kids" does a ton to sell the location early on. I didn't find the footage as ominous as just depressing... a really good analogy about the potential in something unused, or unrealized... now... inject an army of the undead in there... and you're in business!

Funny how viral this is getting to be.

The park itself is presented as depressing, but in truth, it's not something which just fell into disuse; it was badly damaged by the flood and is just too costly to refurbish. Most of the best stuff which survived has already been moved, and honestly, it was never that great of a park to begin with. Very small; poorly-attended. Plus, it's only about 10-15 years old, so it's not like it's something which stood there for a hundred years and was wiped out by circumstance.

But the fact that it seems to have so much more of a story is a testament to the production of the video, I guess!

This reminded me of that show 'A World Without People' that was on Discovery. You don't realize how quickly things can break down and become overrun with weeds and foliage without constant maintenance. Nature reclaims things with astonishing swiftness.
