Craptastic Audio Fix

I'm working on a video for my department here in Oklahoma. However, my boss doesn't like to take his video camera with him, so he shoots important video on his still camera. I know, I know... Anyway, the audio that was captured is awful! It sounds like he's in a tin can. Here's a link of what I'm talking about:

I uploaded it so you can hear what I'm talking about. Is this fixable? If the whole video sounded like this, I might be able to get over it, but 80% of the video was shot in a studio, and then there's that. It's a harsh change.

I'm working with FCS (not 2), and I know nothing about Soudtrack, so saying "drop it in soundtrack and fix it" means nothing to me.

Try this:
send the audio to soundtrack
in the Effects tab select EQ, then Channel EQ
click the plus button to add, a control panel will pop up
on the panel click the Analyzer button to turn it on
the following settings sounded better, but you need to hear it

Freq HZ 80 170 500 810 3500
DB -4.5 +8.5 -11.5 +8.0 -4.0
width 0.71 0.71 0.71 2.90 0.71

Good luck.

that's definitely an improvement, thanks! How do you know what values each is supposed to have? Also, I don't have a 170, I have 200.

*Edit* Lastly, any idea about the hum in the background?

Thanks ... I actually just found out about 'Reduce Noise' ... pretty neat little program here. I'll compare it to the FCP Hum Remover. Thanks to all!

All the values are changed by clicking
the mouse on the number and moving up or down.
Have the loop button set and change values as you listen.
The Analyzer display also shows what frequencies are present.
The 3500Hz cut was done visually.
