Crap Actors

Okay...beat this one: Steven Seagal. It don't get much worse. Even Ben Affleck could give Seagal a few pointers.

hahaha. my friend Mike and I have made two short parodies of certain scenes in some Seagal films. I don't know why, but we both have some sick obsession with watching and laughing at Seagal films. I'll post some grabs eventually of Mike doing the "Seagal Look". Seagal seems like a very arrogant man.

another thing that makes it so great is that Mike is also a 7th degree black belt in Jujitsu and Aikido, like Seagal. and they're both musicians.

how about this guy?

any thoughts?

Is it possible to watch a movie starring Cruise and forget you're watching Tom Cruise?

here are a couple to add to the list......

kevin costner........can he get any more bland in anything he does

anthony hopkins......good as hannibal.....but since when did zorro have an english accent??

might as well add my favs while i am at it
Val Kilmer, Ed Norton, Tom Hanks.....people that can pull off mutiple roles and can make it believable.

Cruise and Costner? Now that is exaggerating... I enjoy a lot of movies by either of them and they both can act.

ok....costner excells in parts where he plays an old has-been (tin cup, bull durham)who doesn't give a **** about anything....but with the exception of field of dreams, he has showed the emotional latitude of Ben Stein

Ha! That's pretty funny. She was way before my time but I was a TV whore when I was a kid and remember many commercials and appearances with her.

You know who is the best frigging actor????

BEA ARTHUR!!!!

You know...its funny you should say that. The whole time GOLDEN GIRLS was on TV in the 80's I never bothered to watch the show. Well, now that my girlfriend and I both work from home, she watches the re-runs religiously. I have discovered that, laugh if you must, but that is probably one of the BEST sitcom ensembles ever. All four of them are just brilliant.

Thing is, acting ability is subjective and so much depends on the essence of that person. Take Liam Neeson for example. I absolutely LOVE that guy in everything. But could many other actors get away with his calm, understated, but intense delivery? I mean, he hardly inflects ever. And, if someone else tried that, they'd be lousy actors. When he does it, its fantastic. Why, because its part of who he is.

Now, having said that, I am surprised that no one mentioned L.L. COOL J!!!!!! I can't STAND that guy. You wanna ask why Queen Latifa is getting work? Please? Why the heck is THIS wanna be getting work?????

I really enjoy watching Harrison Ford in "What Lies Beneath" where he plays a character based on Harrison Ford.

"Clear and Present Danger" was really good because it had another actor who played Harrison Ford....oh no wait, that was Harrison Ford too.

"Air Force One" where Harrison Ford played Harrison Ford playing the President of the United States who was acting like he was Harrison Ford.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Harrison Ford but I would like to see him play someone other than himself. I thought he had so much promise when I saw him originally as Han Solo in the original Star Wars.
