How much can cost this system?

avoiding vibrations is a bit problematic usually with this kind of toys

with the ones I've seen, you can only use wide lenses, preferably with IS

i read $14k-$30k depending on options.
i'll have two THANKS!

could pay for itself pretty quickly though in the right hands...

We've research these rigs and found that the expensive ones such as MicroDrone and DranganFly are not meant for professional video use, let alone carry a 5D Mark II with glass. They are created by very technical folks with only police and military use in mind. There are loads of very unhappy buyers who own dslrs with hopes to produce this type of video with those platforms but found them to be poor performers. The unit in the above video I believe is a custom build. It also states on their vimeo page that they use a 3-axis stabilize gimbal...pretty impressive! I want one!

Bear in mind that the heaviest payload these guys can fly with are 1Kg (2.2 Lbs.) for the 8 rotor model. That would have to include your mounting solution.

Still, very cool. Wouldn't mind one myself!

yeah the limited weight capacity of these things isn't great especially when you're spending what a new car cost! The rig in the video carries a 5D and glass which must be at least 3-4 pounds then factor in the weight of the gimbal, 5 pounds total?
