We don't have Craigslist in Sweden (or maybe we do but nobody ever uses it), but that's what interning in professional television as a PA was for me. A highly professionally established production manager during a four week production I interned for (a TV show actually) borrowed 50 bucks for me, returned 40 three weeks later and told me I should be grateful to have been to have been allowed to work there for free 11 hours/day 6 days a week.
Oh yeah, and she'd never heard of IMDb. This was in 2004.
very funny... actors suffer this indignity all the time. Sorry it is contagious. At least we get "meals & reels" which translate to pizza and crap scripts!
