Holy ****, are those real??

Enlarge them 10X and they'd be great for an alien invasion film...

...creepy...

Terry: Lookout, it's Mothra! Someone send for Godzilla!

Thanks for posting the pics, Daniel. Wow, that is an interesting looking critter. So, it mimics the Hummingbird in the way it flies and hovers?

So closely you wouldnt believe. You know how when hummingbirds take off, they often do it in a high arch at super high speed? Well here's a moth that does the same. Have you ever even seen a moth that can fly fast?

It also has one of those mothy looking roll up sucker tube things for a mouth, but it straightens it out and gather nector using the exact postures and movemements of a hummingbird. And yes......it hovers exactly like a hummingbird!

There pretty much are two shocking possibilities. One, that these things have genetically crossed paths with humming birds at some point in some fashion. Two, that these things observed and mimicked hummingbirds and evolved conciously in that direction. Either way, seriously....WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Oh, and lets not forget that this one decided to take on bumblebee colors. It's like he saw what mostly hangs out around here, and is trying rather conspicuously to blend right on in. But it's not working.....he's a FREAK!

I've said it once and I'll say it again. NATURE ROCKS!!!

I once saw a seagull, at a park in Vancouver, mimic ducks. It quacked just like all the other ducks in the pond. But it was a SEAGULL!!! Why? Because all the visitors give food to the ducks. So a seagull lands, walks into the pond, and starts quacking. It was hilarious.

There's an octopus that is called The Mimic because it will take the shape of other fish to lure prey or look like a snake to frighten foe. Check it out!!! Nature is FREAKY!!! SUPER FREAKY!

hahahaha...man Dan, you definitely have taught me something...wow...

LMAO!!!
There's no way I'd be weedeating with those things out there...
Although, We have some crazy lizards in florida, 1-3 feet long...weird cross breeding...like these...they hiss when you walk by, they're not scared and they don't run away...like little dinosaurs...

It's funny too, because "lizard experts" say, unless it's evolved or cross breeded...there's no way for them to live there...OH YEAH???...IT'S EATING MY CAT!!! :)

Hell, look what I found in the basement last night:

We had a few drinks and it went on its way. Nice fella.

That is the most high res version of the big foot pic I have ever seen....anywhere! I'm gonna keep it for further study.

You know, I heard the guy in the suit admitted it was him while on his deatbed. But there are still several possibilities.

1 - He was just a dude that had nothing to do with it but wanted some attention as he exited Earth and to leave behind a stir of controversy. He would have probably giggled his last breath.

2 - He really was the guy, but he was a govt opperative in a long term plan to extenquish the credibility of the myth and keep the bigfoots all to themselves.

3 - It really was bigfoot, and he did indeed just happen to have an 8mm camera in his holster and ready to rock.

Either way, I'm gonna grab ahold of that super fine specimen of a photo you have there! Where did you find that! Don't tell me Google Images!

Well, you said not to tell you... but, it was the mighty "G". :)

You have searched far and wide for the elusive thread, but more....for the peace it would bring as the voices of nag were silenced. You tossed and turned with the anxiousness of possibly never finding it. But you were triumphant! Across the horizon we see him flying in on pegasis back, with the link in the sack like Persius with the head of Madusa!

You know what, I'm not a Neal Pert fan, in and of it'self, but I'm always open to a real good biography. A fellow once hounded the devil out of me to read Motley Crue's autobiography, and I couldnt stop till I was done....fascinating read.

I am presently reading The Smartest Guys In The Room, about Enron, which you may have read about in Filmmaker magazine as being a movie of the same name. I'm also reading The United States Of Wal Mart...great behind the scenes of how this mindblowinglymegacorp operates and is affecting the global state of being.

Strange corporate reading mood I've just found myself in, but great stuff to explore and learn about.

Man, that was funny! :)

You think thats funny...you should picture the dude on the flying horse being Gene Frenkle, beating the bag with the link in it with a triangle stick and a winning smile.
