The catalyst for its development was my introduction to the Hollywood Camera Work series of DVD's http://www.hollywoodcamerawork.us (not affiliated, just love the series, found out about it through this forum) I was struck that between the outstanding visual capabilities of todays DSLR cameras coupled with good blocking and an understanding of camera movement (DVD series) it was now possible to put the right tools in the hands of the right people and get amazing visual stories.
