Couple of quick rebate questions to those who received

Hey all,

I sent in all my rebate paperwork, and I was just wondering, does anyone know where the card and batt are shipped out of? I was just curious where it will be coming from.

And another thing (and I am just wondering out loud here), I wonder why you send it in to Memphis, Tennessee??? What in the world is in Memphis that would be a reason for the rebate paperwork to go there??? Anyone know?

I thought it was bit strange too. I dont have an answer unfortunately. Those type of dept's are usually outsourced to one vendor site handling multiple companies. Pure speculation on my part

The memphis location is just the processing center for rebates.
I can't remember where the item was shipped from, but it was not memphis.
I think either NewYork or NewJersey, but don't take that as fact.
I spoke to one of the processors and she said she just works processing the paperwork and making sure the receipts were correct.

Once the paperwork is ok, they send a release to ship, and it goes out from there.
I don't believe the processing location (Memphis is the location for shipping)

what rebate are you guys talking about. i just ordered the hmc150 from willoughbys (sp?). is it a special rebate from panasonic or is it from some other site that you guys purchased the camcorder from.

From panasonic, You get a free large battery, and an 8 gig SDHC card.
Ends at the end of march .

You can download the form from most retailers.
