Couple of projects for Church

Hey guys,

I'm the producer on the media team at my church in Melbourne, Australia.

We have shot a couple of videos on my HVX this year which I'd like to share with you guys.

- This is the biggest project of the year. Effects and animation done in After Effects, and all shots except for the firewoman shots had the M2e lens adapter on it, with Zeiss primes (35, 50, 85).

Second video is our First Fruits video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9awFYNvyAkg
This video was shot with stock lens but had a LOT of After Effects work done (blurs, colour correcting etc). All shots were shot 50fps.

Very happy with how both videos turned out. Always looking to do bigger and better though! Hope you like them.
 
Nice stuff.

First fruits was great.

Vision video was technically good. I found the visual metaphors confusing.

Firefighter - heart
Runner - soul
Kid falling - mind
Mother Care - Strength

I think the visual metaphors could have been better. Just my thoughts. As far as artistry and technical aspects keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing

In Victoria (state we live), the year before we had the worst bush fires in Australian history, so we represented the fire fighter as a hero who shows a lot of 'heart'.
The runner was putting all his 'soul' into the run he was about to do. The child fell over and used their 'mind' to get back up and give it another go. And the mother showed 'strength' to get up at 3AM in the morning to comfort her crying child. Some of the imagery was meant to be loose and allow the viewer to make their own connections... but I completely understand what you are saying. Thanks for taking the time to reply!
