Couple of operating questions

  1. Is there anyway I can lock the zoom on the camera? (For 35mm adapter work) - There is a cool way of locking the focus by switching the focus ring to run as an iris ring, but the zoom has no such option - what did other people do with their HVX200?
  2. Can anyone provide a quick explenation or a refer to another site explaining in simplicity how to use the Waveform monitor?
  3. Now that I have "mastered" the usage of the "Master ped" in the camera anyone care to explain how to use properly "Detail coring" and actually all other "Detail" parameters (I'm coming from a canon GL2 so all of this is quite new to me)

I don't have an answer to your question, but that tip on locking the focus is pretty cool

I guess you can tape down the zoom ring.
 
well it kind of does. You can turn off the servo and leave it in manual zoom and then don't touch it...

Why on earth, after so many people are using 35mm adapters with this camera, don't they have locking features yet!

Anyways about the other questions anyone has any answers?
