Could use some advice on buying DVX100 or XH-A1

Dude that's insane. It looks like a videogeek joke or something. It seems backwards, you have an adapter before a video tripod?

hahaha yeah you are right, I know, this is tripod from my old panasonic gs, it's $10 or so , holding $4000 camera setup :D , im waiting for my normal tripod to arrive...
This is 60cm long cinevate rails, cinevate matte box, Sgpro, canon fd...
Sgpro rev3 and Cinevate mattebox are not compatible, so i had real trouble puting this up together...

it goes like this: camera, tripod plate, flip unit, adapter, lense, mattebox... this is normal setup ?!

what fluid head tripod did you get off ebay for 150??? was it used?? or was it one of those no name brand knock off from japan, b/c i was looking at the knock offs but decided against it and went with a velbon dv7000 instead, didnt wanna risk it.
