Could some one tell me how to capture live to PC

I have windows vista h.p. and im attempting to get the HVX to stream live video via the firewire cable.

My Panasonic palm corder works fine in all applications, but I can not figure out what I need to do to use the HVX

Depends on what application you're using. Some don't support DVCPRO50 or HD (Sony Vegas, for example). Avid, EDIUS, and DV Rack 2.0 HD can all capture the live stream in any format.

Edius is not officially supported on Vista, though some people use that setup. DV Rack 2.0 HD also doesn't officially support it, but I believe it's new incarnation, OnLocation, does.
