Does Costco not sell these things anymore or something? I read a few pretty recent posts here saying to buy it from them, but it isn't on their web site and I've called 5 Costco stores so far in my area but none of them carry it. In fact, they only sell a few digital camcorders and they are all cheapy home video ones.

As a side question, does anyone here actually use Magic Bullet and/or Instant HD? I have free access to workstations with Adobe Premiere and FCP, so would those two software suites beat out Magic Bullet + Instant HD in every way?

I think your only bet for finding the DVX100b at Costco is at their website. They carried it on costco.com for a long time, but it's not showing up now.

Magic Bullet is preset color correction software, not an editing program. It works along with Premiere, FCP, etc.
