Cost of replacing cracked mirror on 5D

Anyone here has experience sending in their 5D for mirror replacement?
Any information on cost would be appreciated.
 
Thank you for the information and links. I found the service manual useful and I downloaded it.

I have already sent a service form to the canon factory service center in Virginia.
However, I won't be able to know the cost until they have inspected the camera,
which means I have to send it in first.
I was hoping someone who had the same part serviced would know a ball park figure of the costs.
 
If you are eligible to join Canon Professional Services in the US, if you pay $100 for the Gold memebership, you get 2 free cleanings and save 30% on repairs.

You also get "Rush" labels and rush service for repairs.

I joined at the free level. I have a lens to send in for repair, so I will probably bump my membership up to Gold level.

Are you taling about the original 5D? I think those are selling for about $600 used. A used 5DII sells for around $1,600, or you can get a refurbished one from Canon at times for $1,750 +- (For comparison purposes. I doubt the mirror will exceed teh value even for teh 5D)
