I feel P2 tech is frutifull for a single cam user but for me a multicam user i own 3 DSR450 now. If i were to buy 3 HD grade cameras then a p2 based HPX will be a heart burn for me. As with each camera one has to buy atleast 5P2 cards (4 in shoot & one on roundup from camera to storage) now with each new camera the same setup gets repated. where is the cost effectiveness of such a system
if i were to buy a PDW XDCAM then i can alsways buy 3 cameras 7 still not burn a hole in pocket ... i will buy 3 cameras with say 50GB 20-30 dicks which can easily be archieved on HDD in case i have to reuse the Disks very soon.
Now pls judge if i should go with P2 or Disk based system. quality wise i feel HPX502<XDCAM PDW335 900x600 pixel shifting vs native 1440x1080 etc etc
