I was at an event where my p2 store had an interrupted power while importing.
After ejecting the card, tried reimporting to the P2 store and it seemed to import properly.
After I got back to the studio and tried to import from the P2 store and it froze final cut.
Then I manually dragged the p2 volumes into sepparate folders and I found that although many of the clips previewed properly in FCP, there are a bunch of clips that are just color static and white noise.
I tried p2 log pro (demo) and it couldn't repair the clips either.
I also tried repairing the lastclip.txt which did not help.
It seems that the MXF data is there and the volume is the right size.
I think the next step would be to copy the p2 volume on the P2 store back to the P2 card and see if it will play. The only thing is, how can I get the P2 volume on the P2 store back onto a p2 card? I tried dragging the volume onto the empty card in OSX and it didn't let me write to the card. Any ideas, PLEASE!!! I've been up all night trying to figure this out!
Thanks,
Philip
