Corrupted Frames from Sony NX70 & NX5 Cameras

This has got me beat!
In the last 12 months I've been getting random corrupted frames from my 2 Sony Camcorders, both record to their respective SSDs.
Have a look at the attached frame and let me know if you're experiencing this problem. It seems to happen in about 40% of the footage I shoot. I feel like I'm back shooting on my DVX but then, I rarely had this much corruption on tape.

I edit in Sony Vegas Pro 11 and copy & use the MTS video files straight out of the Stream folder, rather than ingest via the Sony app, would this really make any difference?
Cheers!

So you are not recording to actual SDHC cards? You are instead recording to the built-in memory on the NX70 and the optional flash memory module for the NX5?

So you transfer the data to the computer using a USB cable? I wonder if that cable could be faulty?

It would be quite freakish for both camcorders to develop a problem at the same time. So I'm thinking that there has to be some other outside factor.

Try recording to SDHC cards instead, and use a USB card reader to transfer the data to your computer. See if doing that makes a difference.

Or do you have another different USB cable available? If so, try transferring the files using a different cable.

Another very serious possibility is that your hard drive on your computer is developing problems. How old is your computer and the hard drive in it? How full is your hard drive?

Data corruption is not that unusual, once a hard drive gets close to its storage capacity.

All good suggestions. Yes I agree it is very unlikely that both camcorders could have developed the same fault. It must certainly be something in the way thre data is transferred to the machine. I'll have to look more into it, perhaps I'll dump the footage on 2 different machines and see if the corruption appears at the same place on both...
