ok, i hear the word "panny" tossed around a good bit here in reference to panasonic.

i always thought "panny" was short for panavision???

you are correct, but for most of the people using an HVX, the idea of using a panavision camera is as abstract as a race car driver flying a jet fighter - and I bet NASCAR shares some abreviations with the airforce

So, I don't think the overlap in this case is a concern.
