Mama Mia! ... What an atmospheric exterior! ... Congrats!

I studied acting with Stella Adler back in the day in New York and almost everything comes from "Place" in terms of which circumstance you can imaginativly milk, its that one which is most magically bearing fruit so to speak, The "Where"

Nice to hear some of the creative ideas and processes that go into conceiving your storys.

Dog.

P.S.
Lars Von Triers new project with just two actors one of which is Wilhem Dafoe will be one single location! A country cottage...Thats it...With good drama its more then enough because when its all boiled down its really all about relationships between the characters and their issues and conflicts, whether its spread out over 100 locations like "Thelma & Louise" or circles around a central key location like "Reservoir dogs" Or "Dogday Afternoon" doesnt matter because the actual story is always between people and what they do to each other everything else is a backdrop though if chosen well can be as AC said a main charcter in and of itself like the hotel in "The Shining".

Some of the most successful films are single location flicks: Die Hard, Titanic, Dawn of the Dead, Assault on Precint 13, etc.

add reservoir dogs to the list. maybe not a full 85% at one location, but i think close to that is fair. and that one location was a warehouse. similar to a hangar.

so do we have another tarantino on our hands? sweeeeeet.

Well thanks!

Hangar 14 is the movie I wanted to make before Corrado but didn't have the budget to do it properly. Plus the Navy has been reaaalllly slow in cleaning up El Toro, so it just didn't work out a year ago when I tried to get permission.

Hangar 14 relies on a single location for about 85% of the movie. I don't know who was giving Prodigi shi* about his single location movie, but they really don't know shi*.

Some of the most successful films are single location flicks: Die Hard, Titanic, Dawn of the Dead, Assault on Precint 13, etc.

Single location flicks hinge on the location more than other movies. In Titanic, the boat is a character in the movie! Could you imagine the story without the boat? Or McClane not being trapped in the sky scraper? It adds so much tension.

That's why I feel like Ive hired a big celebrity today....the Hangar really is what will define the movie production value wise. And it's not your average hangar, which I could've gotten anywhere.....it is a 300,000 sq ft. hangar with a three story high office complex inside one side of it.

The office complex has been abandoned since the base closed in 1999 - it is sooooo dilapidated and looks totally post apocalyptic and forlorn (even though Hangar 14 is set in the present day).

i agree 100%. the feature i'm working on uses the same 1 location type of concept for a majority of the film. great way to do it and save money. if you have a great story to tell then you can pull it off.

Yea very nice site... cant wait until i can click the trailer button and see a trailer though lol... I know i know patience is a virtue.

Wow - thanks guys!

It's only about half done so that's why I never said anything. It should be mostly done in the next few days with all the content on there minus the trailer, which will be cut from color corrected footage.

Shawneous, ol pal: Corrado's out of my hands now and in the loving hands of the colorist, the post audio guys, and the composer which is why I have so much free time and am concentrating on Hangar 14. Methinks a couple weeks to be done.

Just realized Edoardo Ballerini was in this film, definitely enjoyed him in the short film "Home, James, And Don't Spare The Horses"

Hey Adam - the lead actress is your wife?? I hadn't realized that. How cool.

Site looks great! How long do you think before a trailer goes up?

Well, she isn't the lead but is an ensemble character, and yes....that's ma woman!

Trailer will be done after post, with color corrected and mixed audio.

Looks good man, some really nice pics. Tom looks bad ass, and Johnny looks great. You've got a lot of familiar faces up there and tons of production value. The distributors are going to love that. I can't wait to see the trailer! : )

The site looks great Adam, great poster, sells the film really well. I feel like were going to get a dark, moody action film with a lot of Blood!

So many low budget feature films make the mistake of having a bad website and poster. I was at Cannes this year and your poster is soooooo much better than most of the posters for films in the Film Market. Which company made the site for you and was it expensive?

For Hanger will you be writing again on here? Any idea of budget?

Are you looking at DVD rental first then DVD retail 3/4 months later?

Thank you for all your time and effort here Adam. THANK YOU...

Adam, I heard there were posters, trailers, etc. Where in the thread are they at? Any way to park them in the first couple of threads?
