Adam, after everything is done, and I believe this was suggested somewhere, PUBLISH THIS. This will definetly help on the financing part, and I would most certainly recommend the book. Add dailies, pictures from the shoot, some production tidbits like shooting/crew decisions, and there it is, one of the most best reads possible for newcomers.
Good job.
Soon, grasshopper, soon.
Probably the DVXuser magazine article would be the only published form I'd authorize - but someone else would have to put it together and edit it.
This is what we like about this thread, Adam: No B%lsh&t. Thanks for telling us your mistakes. Keep it up, and do tell us, with your typical direct and honest way, what you would've done differently when everything raps up!
Would've been smarter to just shoot longer up front. I know, I know, some of you questioned my schedule (Brandon) and you were right, but not because it could not have been done - it could have - but the tiny little setbacks because of mistakes adds up over 14 days and bites you.
In my opinion the good really outweighs the bad in the end, just wait until you see your film released in stores, it's an amazing feeling.
