Will be filming a corporate video and am pretty lost should i be doing 25p or 50i. im on a PAL DVX100 set. Advice anyone? Thanks alot.

The product is some wellness and massage luxurious place. Very romantic. THanks =)
 
I'm a fan of progressive scan, so I'd say 25p. The question is... what would your client prefer?

Show them examples of both and see which way they'd like to go.
 
Actually, I'd think it was your client's preference.

While not directly familiar w/PAL, your 25p setting will give you a more "film-style" look. The interlace will give you more of a "traditional" video look.

For me, the "wellness and massage" topic might lend itself to a 50i look using some kind of "fog" filter to create a more "dreamy" feel.

The footage on 25p looks better than 50i but if you want to have the footages edited in slow-mo. then 50i is better.
