Corp' presentation - advice on setup

Hi,

This is a test run for a corp IT presentation - its about 5 mins 30 secs running time so just fast forward to about 5mins 06 secs to see the light set up.

It was meant to be a nice white background so that keying onto a white page would be easy but - I think I will need to rethink the lighting setup etc as.. . you will see.
Please be gentle here as I am new to this sort of thing & this is just a test run anyways until I figure more out.
The end close up shot looks ok but the rest - I need advice on - could I getaway with keying the guy out & placing him on a fresh white background or would I really need to use blue screen ?

It is in 50i with scene flou

How much room do you have on the right (stage left?) ?

I assume you are talking about seeing the corner and crown molding? Can you move over not to have it in the shot?

What about bouncing the light? What about having both lights be centered on the corner? (If you dont have room?)

Hi John,

Yeah - the reason for having it in that corner was because of very little to play with on the right so I just thought, that bouncing the light of the white celing should even it out but, on the video clip that is the only way I could get it without heavy shadows appearing behind him.
I guess I was thinking that the web designer could get his editor to just key most of it out onto a graphic white background but im not sure if thats possible since its more creamy grey rather than white  behind the guy.

If you have any other feedback or comments about the way it looks so far - that would be great - im trying to learn on how best to shoot this piece  ;)

The dialog is & everything is exactly how it will be - its just trying to get the lighting right & having him put into a plain white background on the website.

It looks very nice all things considered. I would try a softer (YET HOT) set-up in reducing the shadows and try and move over some!

I thought it looked very good.
