Copy from one card to another

Since many SDHC cards are so cheap, I'm going to be saving some of them as an archive on the important stuff I film. My question is, is it possible to copy the contents of one card onto another?

Can I just drag and drop from one to another in the computer or will this not format it right? Thanks.

I'm making copies of the main 'private' folders on two separate hard drives, then reformatting the cards.

Keen can always take those same folders and transfer them to another SDHC card if need be.

Same for me actually. Although I don't reformat, I put it into the camera and delete all the clips.
 
Just did a quick search using the keyword 'reformat' and arrived here. Is reformatting preferable to just deleting clips? What is your experience please?

If you save scene files or metadata on your cards, reformatting will wipe those out.

I recommend using "delete all clips" with AVCCAM cameras.
