[WTB] Coollight CL-LED600 600 LED Panel

5600 spot preferred


I was looking at buying the LED256 from the Coollights website but they wanted to charge me $27 for ground shipping the tiny thing to California. Shipping itself with insurance shouldn't run more than $13 so more than half would be their handling fee. I inquired about this and they never got back to me. That being the way it is, I'm a bit wary of placing an order with them in the future (not to mention the LED600 is currently out of stock). If anyone has a LED 600 that they're looking get rid of, let me know!

Nah, I don't think they can offer Fedex Home Delivery if they're coming from China.

Yes They're coming from china and yes they can deliver to your home. I picked up a 600 before they went out of stock and have to say it's a wonderful tool. Its not as polished as the Litepanels one by panel but it get the job done and the output is fantastic. I'm a fan.

Yeah, I understand that they manufacture those in China but are they really shipping directly from China? $27 by Fedex seems incredible low in that case.

I would like get one of these since I hear so many great things about them. Too bad that they're out of stock, I could really use one next week. Maybe someone in San Francisco has one that they can rent out for one day next Saturday?
 
It is coming from China, that is where Richard lives. You will have no problems with CoolLights. they are great people, and you will have no regrets on that LED, which si awesome and underpriced
 
Yeah everyone, you don't have to convince me that it's a great tool- I'm already convinced! Unfortunately it's out of stock and I'm still looking for one, to buy or to rent in San Francisco!

True that! When I went to Florida for a shoot and needed something Craigs was a ghost town. Out in LA its full of **** to buy/rent...

I have a couple LED 600 if you need to rent. When is your production, as they're currently in use. Also i'm in SF !

im in sf as well, and have a 600 that i just got that I would rent, and maybe even sell, since i'm not super happy with the color on it, I've only busted it out on one shoot, but it didnt pair well with the jokers and divas.

If a $27 shipping charge knocks you out of the purchase, you didn't want it. It really is a nice product for the money, even with the shipping. Good company too.

Just got two... flood and spot... great product for the price.... great guys... excellent communication.. used them twice already... no regrets...

yep julian, I posted this a whiilllee back. I've been out of live action for about a year now.
Sorry about the confusion. I suppose this thread is closed now? Unless someone else in San Francisco wants one and decides to reference this thread...
