I'm so sick of having to buy overpriced batteries every time I get a new camera because there are no standards. With something like this you could have a universal pouch with cables for your different rigs. They all run on the same voltage. Any camcorder that charges the battery internally will have a dc port that you can jack into, A rig like this would also field charge your standard battery, interesting possibilities, good find.

Which method are using to keep battery on tripod? You scothch tape it? How about hung it under tripod head and between legs like sandbag? Omg!

I got the Onyx 220 charger. It's only a few more dollars and let's you charge from a 12v battery as well as 110v. Got it new on Ebay for $59.95 with free shipping.
