Cool FS700 Disney spot I DP'd and new reel and work

Here's a link to a main title I DP'd for Disney XD's new show Might Med which aired last week. I also did all of the 3D animation and a majority of the post. Shot on Cinegamma 1 since it was all on a sound stage. We shot mostly wide-angle and dutch to give it that comic book feel. I've never used my Tokina 11-16mm so much in my life. Produced at Roger and directed by Terry Lee.

Also, here's my latest reel. Mostly FS700 with some Canon DSLR left overs. A mix of personal work as well as professional DP jobs with cable networks like Disney, SyFy, WEtv, Bravo Channel and HGTV.

Also updated my Movies page with lots of FS700 work.

God. Damn. all looks really amazing. Did you throw in any clips from that working man skate spot? I didn't see it, but that I loved. I would have liked to see this reel with some fierce, high energy music, but to each his own. I guess that might not have worked for all your shots.

You must work round the clock 365 to turn out all this content. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for looking Scott. I went back in and added a shot from the Working Man. And yeah.. I've been pretty OCD since I got the FS700 about filming like crazy. I'm a crazy workaholic by nature and have always been; but going to try and chill out a bit this year, spend some more time with the wife, surf more and not think about cameras 24-7. LOL!

Nice work Gene, loved the comic book style as well. Did you draw the comic stuff as well?

cheers
Paul

No, I wish I was that cool. I can draw pretty well, but not like that guy. We hired a legit comic book artist. I just did the 3D animation and the compositing using Cinema 4D and After Effects.
