Is there an HVX set-up Cook Book anywhere?

I think that this would be a very well used resource especially for those new to the HVX. I know that there are a number of very experienced users here but some basic knowledge on how to set the HVX up under varing circumstances i.e. low light, night shooting etc would be invaluable for us new users who are struggling with all the options etc.

What do people think?

If it's any help to you... Barry's HVX book includes a CD with a series of setup files that you can transfer to an SD card for use in the camera. Included on the CD are screen captures of what each setup creates.

If you don't have Barry's book... it's a must have!

Amazing how this DVXuser started as a forum for the dvx and now become a culture with books, cd's, bootcamps, cookbooks, HD, film and much more forum.

Is that going to be part of a new book or a freebe thing for current/new owners of the book?

It's not my product, someone else is producing it. I just happen to know that it's coming, is all, so there will soon be a lot more choices available to you.
 
Yeah we shold be getting the cook book out in about a month or so.. its Evin Grant's little side project.
