I'm still shooting with the DVX and I'm trying to decide which aspect ratio to use for a movie I'm about to shoot. I know the uprez vs. squeeze debate is ongoing (never ending). But, that aside, I'm curious as to how people are converting their letter-boxed (cropped) 4:3 footage to true 16:9 DVD output? Is there a way to edit in 4:3 with a matte and then convert to 16:9 after the final cut is finished? Is there any way to use "Instant HD" to uprez? Anyone who wants to discuss uprez vs. squeeze feel free, but I'm mainly trying to understand processes. Thanks in advance for any advice.
