Convert MXF to AVI. Best codec?

I have tried Serious Magic DVC PRO DECODER and cineform HDLINK to convert a 720 24pn footage.

I get good result, but in PREMIERE, the cineform AVI footage look more green in the skin tone. Serious Magic footage look amazing, but the playback in VEGAS is really bad. Also Serious Magic footage are 960 X 720 instead of 1280x720. Premiere correct that easily but not Vegas.

Do I have done something wrong?

And more important, is these converter are 100% lossless?

We use the Raymaker application for AVI intermediates within Vegas 7.

Raylight 2.0 offers three levels (significantly improved playback now in Red mode) of AVI playback quality within the NLE. Even on larger projects, the switch between high-quality and lowest quality playback is quick.

I wasn't aware that Serious had come out with support for PN? At the time I upgraded to 2.0, Serious Magic did not support native framerates.

It's the DVCProHD Decoder that supports PN when converting MXF files to AVI or QT containers -- DV Rack cannot record PN because the camera doesn't output it to the Firewire port.

720 footage is in fact 960x720 using anamorphic (non-square pixels). I'm not a Vegas user, but I would think it lets you override the PAR somewhere and force 16:9 instead of 4:3.
