Convert mov to mxf via converter

Hey guys,

I have a problem. We're working with EX 3 and 5 D footage and we need to convert it because we cut the material on Avid systems. Avid told us that 5 D (mov) footage will work without transcoding it but its not working.

Now we're searching a way to convert especially the 5D and 7D "mov" footage to "mxf". Right now we convert the material in Avid itself which is blocking the work stations all the time. Is there a converter that we can use ? I already tried many different converter but it was not working. The last one which was not working is this one:

Maybe because of the fact that it needs XDCAM files.

Any ideas which converter would work? AND it should run on os X 10.5 / 10.6. We only have one PC system here.

It is (Or was) the go-to converter here. I think Quicktime Pro will also do it.

Thanks. We will try. Avid Metafuze is also working but the files becoming way to big. A mov file is 20 times bigger than the original. Normal would be 4 or 5 times, i think.
More ideas guys?
