Convert 30PN to 60i?

I and my HVX200 have been hired to shoot second camera, using several 8GB P2 cards. This is a 30P project and will be edited in Avid. I want to maximize card utility and thus want to shoot 30PN. Camera 1 is the Panasonic HDX900. From what I understand, the HDX900 has no Native format -- when shooting "30P," it records 60i, and flags 30 for use (Just like the HVX's regular 30P.)

How can I work with my 30PN files so that they can play happily in Post with the HDX900 footage in one single timeline? Is there a simple conversion using Apple's Compressor, for example? All help appreciated!

All you should have to do is drop the MXF files or QT file son to a hard drive give them to the producer or editor and they will work fine with the 30p over 60p footage. I guess you will be recording 720 since you are recording natively. They will have capture thier footge at 30p and then they can drop your stuff in the timeline fine.
