Be gentle. I'm a FCP guy who used to use Premiere until a few years ago. But I've forgotten most of what I knew.
Here's my situation.
I have a client that I regularly deliver video to as .mov files. They now want to have both .mov and .wmv files on their website. I am trying to figure the best way to convert and here's what I have so far.
Import the .mov file into Premiere (using 6.5), and export it as an avi. Then open the .avi in Windows Movie Maker and convert that to .wmv
If that logic is flawed, or if you know a better way, feel free to let me know
My next thought is whether I would be better off using the full res .mov file at the beginning of this process, or can I use the already compressed version that they are using on the web. I ask because I may not have all of the original full res files.
Any thoughts are appreciated. :love4:
