Recently I shot a short converse film using the M2 and DVX100A. The shoot was lots of fun and went relativley smooth. We had a cast and crew of 4 people total, it took 4.5 hours, and it was a total blast. Here are some shots:

Enjoy!

wow, amazingly done. Now you HAVE got to tell me how you did that slow motion effect.

I'm curious as well. I remember seeing a slow mo program that supplements frames but I can't remember what it's called. Was that used here?

Very nice by the way!

VERY COOL CLIP!

Twixtor, a AE Plug-in is probably the best flame blender for Slow mo available to man kind (with a lower budget, hie hie)

I would play around a bit with the CC and Color Grading though, but that's just me, perhaps it could do with a bit more contrast?

Thanks all,

Yes, I used the Twixtor AE-Plugin along with fieldskit deinterlacer. To achieve the slow motion the piece was shot in 60i mode then converted in After effects, with the plug-in, to 60p. Once I had the whole thing in 60p I used twixtor to push it back down to 24p and speed up and slow down time.

It took about 4 hours of tutorials and trail and error to get past the plug-in's steep learning curve but once I got the hang of it, I wanted to put everything in slo-mo :)

I appreciate all your comments, thanks.
