Is this a home made rig or purchased and if the latter who makes it - also how long is it?

Where are you located and do you know how much shipping would be to 94901?

Can you take off the handle for easy shipping shipping in a tripod case.

Is it much smoother than just the Igus without the handle and does the belt make it harder to do moves just by hand if you don't use the crank?

Lastly - howcum you're selling it.

This is a home made slider. See link on original post for instructions on how to build your own as well as dimensions. Please note that this is a smaller igus rails. I would not recommend it for anything larger than a bare DSLR. No rails or mattebox, etc.

It comes with a padded tripod case. It fits in the case with the handle attached. You can remove the handle with an allan wrench.

I don't know if it is smoother, but I find that I can keep a constant speed better with the crank. You can still move it by hand.

Selling it because I went to a much larger camera (FS100)
