Controlling the focus

Hi all...
I've been looking around the forum and I think it's fairly safe to say that the DVX100A cannot have the focus controlled by remote. Is there ANY other way to control it, and how do you guys get around the problem/control the focus?

gotta do it by hand on the 100a, no other option. the b however has an additional port for focus/iris control.

Sure. You could also look into a follow focus...
