I used the default Scene 1 for a wedding the other week and spent most of the time using 12db of Gain on 100/30p PH. When reviewing the footage on my PC I came to the opinion that the footage was very contrasty, i,e there wasnt a of range in the light levels, the shadows were very dark and the highlights were very bright and not alot of range inbetween.
The zebras were set to 95% or 100% I dont remember now!. Looking through some threads I noted that it may be an idea to change to Cine D gamma. Future shoots will probably be in 720/30 PH, not sure if DRS is available on this setting but my events are mostly low-light affairs so Gain will already be up at 9db or 12db and dont want to increase the noise any further is possible.
