Is the ShuttleXpress Jog/Shuttle Wheel compatible with Vegas Pro 7 ?

If any of you are using it, id like your feedback as to how much (and how well) it helps when working with Vegas.

Make sure you get the V2 or what ever the latest model is. It is highly programmable and has a good macro system.

The V1, V2 applies only to the Shuttle Pro Version right ? Or do you mean the SXPRS also has 2 Versions ? Are you sure cause i was just about to order. Which one are you using ?
 
The bonus is that you can use it for almost any program. It's particularly satisfying when using it with my USB missile launcher. But it's pretty cool for things like web pages, too.

Im getting the Xpress version (not pro). As it seems it would be more ergonomically suitable to my taste. I have one question however, considering you would have studied both models before acquiring one. Does the Xpress model programmable buttons take commands such as Ctrl+z, Ctrl+y for undos, redos, etc. Ive read researched a bit on it and have read that the Xpress wont do macros. But will it at least memorize key combo key strokes ?

I didn't look at that specifically, but it would have to in order to be useful (or, really, work at all) with most NLEs or any other software.

It will most likely come preprogrammed to work with Vegas (and a large list of other software, too).
